Description
Villa Cemara is a gorgeous beachfront villa located in the lovely seaside village of Sanur, on Bali’s south-east coast. This luxurious property, designed by the acclaimed Balinese architect Popo Danes, boasts a traditional style, with its five alang-alang thatched pavilions that recreate the architecture of the traditional Balinese compounds, but also offers modern amenities and contemporary furnishings.
The villa sits right on the beach, enjoying an amazing view over the calm waters of Sanur and a great position, being close by excellent kite surfing and water sports centres and the renowned 5-star Bali Hyatt and Fairmont resorts.
This lovely town is characterised by an easy-going vibe and it’s the ideal location for those families and groups of friends looking for a tropical relaxed stay. Sanur is also packed with restaurants, local retailer shops and beach cafés.
Outdoor living areas
The gorgeous garden of the villa is a heavenly spot where to relax and spend unforgettable moments. The space has been decorated with fountains, water features, tropical lush vegetation and ornamental ponds, and features a refreshing swimming pool with submerged steps for lounging and comfortably cushioned sun loungers set on its deck. Just next to the pool is the gate that leads to the 60 meters private beach of the villa!
Indoor living areas
The h uge open-sided pavilion located next to the swimming pool is the main living area, the perfect spot if you are looking to relax while enjoying the amazing view of the ocean. This space has been tastefully furnished with plush sofas and a marble-topped table for 10, where you can enjoy memorable seafood barbecue alfresco parties. A well-equipped kitchen with walk-in fridge is located in a separate pavilion with guest toilet. To keep you entertained the villa also offers a quality sound system with a vast music library, an iPod dock, DVD library with blockbuster films and fun board games.
Bedrooms
Villa Cemara counts five beautiful air-conditioned bedrooms with comfortable king size beds and ensuite bathrooms.
The master bedroom is found in a stand-alone pavilion and features an amazing beachfront veranda, antique furniture, seating area set in front of a 42” TV, a dressing room accessible through a beautifully carved alcove and a gorgeous air-conditioned bathroom opening onto a private courtyard with shower, black terrazzo jacuzzi and waterfall features.
The other four bedrooms are located in the two-storey pavilions and are furnished with king beds, all convertible in twin beds. The two rooms on the ground floor feature flat screen 42” TVs and bathtubs in their ensuite tropical bathrooms.
Staff
The amazing and professional staff of the villa is lead by a local manager and consists in an assistant villa manager, a cook, maids, gardeners and security guards. Extra services like spa treatments, in-villa massages or babysitting services can be easily arranged by the staff. The villa’s cars, a 6-seater Kijang and a 12-seater mini-bus, are also available for up to 8 hours a day at additional cost.
