Villa Mana is an extremely spacious and gorgeously designed 7 bedroom villa located in the traditional village of Babakan, within Canggu’s greater area, one of the most sought-after locations of the island.
This contemporary residence is nestled amidst beautiful rice fields terraces and will offer guests the opportunity to experience the authentic Balinese way of life, largely unchanged in these villages. Only 10 kilometres away is also the vibrant Seminyak, Bali’s busiest touristic town, where guests will find countless acclaimed restaurants, nightspots and boutiques.
The world-class surf breaks of Echo Beach and its famed sunsets are only 5 minute drive away, as is the signature sea temple of Tanah Lot and the amazing Nirwana Golf Club.
Outdoor living areas
Villa Mana has been designed as a multi-level residence and the gorgeous outdoor spaces are characterised by e laborate hanging gardens, a sweeping lawn on the lower level (soccer goalposts are provided to convert it in a soccer pitch!), ancient frangipani trees and amazing views over the lush rice terraces.
The fantastic infinity-edged swimming pool will be the ideal spot to relax and refresh while admiring the amazing surroundings. An even better panorama can be enjoyed from the rooftop terrace, a large space with 180 degree views, stretching from the distant volcanoes to the ocean,featuring daybeds and outdoor wooden table for twelve.
Indoor living areas
Villa Mana interiors are a clear example of contemporary tropical design, with spacious rooms, high ceilings, custom designed furniture, clean lines, use of polished concrete and local materials.
The main living area is a large open-sided space featuring a 12-seater wooden table, comfortable deep cushioned sofas and quality Bose sound system. Guests may also retreat into the e normous air conditioned entertainment room (or children’s playroom) with 2.3 x 1.2 m satellite projection screen TV, PlayStation console, billiard table, collections of books, toys and games. An additional air conditioned TV room with flat screen TV, DVD player and black leather furnishings is found on the upper floor, with access to the rooftop terrace.
Bedrooms
The villa offers seven enormous and stylishly furnished bedrooms, five of them fitted with king size beds, one with twins and one with two bunk beds. The two master suites are located on the upper level and boasts floor-to-ceiling glass walls, Chinese-styled sliding doors, large mirrors, huge ensuite bathrooms with dressing area, walk in rain shower and gorgeous wooden bath tubs fit-for-two. The three bedrooms on the ground floor are also beautiful and spacious, all featuring glass doors opening onto the garden, built-in wardrobes, desks and semi-outdoor bathrooms with circular bathtub and rain shower. The sixth and seventh bedrooms are instead furnished with respectively twin beds and two bunk beds (this last bedroom can host up to 4 children but it is not suitable for adults). These suites share a tropical bathroom with square tub and a rain shower.
Staff
As a fully staffed private villa, guests are in for an extremely comfortable stay. The fantastic team is made of housekeeping staff, a gardener, villa attendants, security guards, a villa manager and a talented chef. Six bicycles are also available to the guests who wish to explore the slow-paced traditional village in which the property is located.

Beautiful and well kept villa. Very helpful staff. Grandparents had most amazing time staying here. Puttu is awesome cook and very quick learner. He learned to make Indian vegetarian food for the parents. Thank u puttu, made and other staff. Hope to see u again.

5/5Villa manager and chef is exceptional. Fantastic service and memorable experience. The people of Bali are just beautiful and hospitable. 5 master bedrooms, a double bedroom and a bunk bed room can easily handle a 6 family party and getaway. Some honest downsides: the Airconditioning is not that great. It’s a padi field view which is nice but attracts mosquitoes. Pool is very deep, great for adults but is dangerous if u have young kids. It’s v near a temple that blasts religious chanting at 6am daily. So some rooms will get a super loud wake up call. I felt it was kinda spooky. Overall the experience was great. The chef was superb! The villa manager super attentive.
