Villa Kakatua is a gorgeous 4 bedroom tropical villa located only 2 minutes walk away to the popular Batu Bolongbeach in Canggu!
The position of the property is amazing, 100 meters from one of the hippest beaches of the island, renowned for its world-class surf waves and trendy beach clubs like Old Man’s and The Lawn. You can also take a stroll along the beach to get to the nearby Echo Beach, also acknowledged as one of Bali’s hottest surfing spots. Jalan Batu Bolong has also undergonean amazing transformation over the past years, making it one of the most sought-after location in Bali, thanks to its excellent restaurants, cafè, boutiques and spas.
Outdoor living area
The beautiful three pavilions that make up this charming property are nestled in a gorgeous and extensive tropical garden with well manicured lawns. The beautiful bean-shaped swimming pool will be the ideal place to refresh and regenerate after a long day spent exploring the natural beauties of this magical island. The p oolside bale (traditional gazebo) with sun loungers will instead offer the perfect spot to nap or relax. Just next to the main living area is also a thatched roof dining bale, which seats 8 people and offers the best spot to enjoy amazing alfresco meals.
Indoor living area
The gorgeous interiors of the property are characterised by exquisite artefacts, colourful traditional furnishings and high ceilings. The main living space is set in the open-sided main pavilion overlooking the lush garden and comprises a lounge corner, a smaller dining table, a satellite TV and a stereo system with iPod docks. On the back of this area is also a modern kitchen equipped with modern appliances.
Bedrooms
Villa Kakatua offers four beautiful and air-conditioned bedrooms, all featuring gorgeous terrazzo floors, beautiful carved wood four-poster king size beds with mosquito netting, TV with DVDs and iPod docks (only in three bedrooms). Two of the suites are located in the main living pavilion, one on the ground floor and one on the upper level, and boast gorgeous garden bathroom with tropical shower. The third and fourth bedrooms are instead set in a separate pavilion with shared veranda and daybed. Both rooms are serviced by tropical semi-outdoor bathrooms and one of the two is large enough to sleep two extra guests (extra cost).
Staff
The amazing staff of the villa will cater to your’s every need, from preparing meals to arranging fantastic in-villa spa treatments. The team is lead by a professional villa manager and comprises cooks, maids, gardeners and security guards available 24/7.

Villa Kakatua and Villa Kedidi were so well presented and maintained far above typical Bali standards. Our family stayed in both Villas for a family reunion and the staff were so accommodating and especially lovely to my young children who were experiencing Bali for the first time. The food was delicious and freshly prepared everyday. The chefs even made delicious birthday cakes ‘in-house’ on request. Thank you again for a wonderful experience.

5/5We have had the privilege of booking both Villa Kakatua and Villa Kedidi for 21 nights. We had an awesome family reunion. The transfers from the airport were seamless. The staff are all exceptional and made our stay amazing , always willing to do that little bit extra. The meals were outstanding and we chose to have breakfasts and dinners at the villa as we had 13 in our group, from 3 years to 60 years old. The presentation and service was 5 star standard. The chef’s made 3 beautiful birthday cakes for various members of our family. The rooms are serviced daily, spacious and comfortable with adjoining ensuites , large beds with air-conditioning and fans. The wifi is strong and can be used throughout the properties. In house massage can be arranged. The gardens and pool are beautifully maintained, and they provided the children with pool toys and countless hours of fun for all. The location is 100 meters from Canggu beach, surf and nightlife. A van and driver are available free for the Canggu area and at a very reasonable rate for further afield. Staff happily organize motorbike hire. There is 24hour security at the front gate. You will not find a better “sanctuary” for a large family gathering.
