Villa 1880 is a stunning and unique 5 bedroom villa located in one Bali’s most sought-after areas, just off Jalan Batu Beling in north Seminyak. This gorgeous property is only 500 meters from the beach and within walking distance to the famous Jalan Petitenget, which features amazing cafes and restaurants, places such as Metis, Watercress, Livingston, DaMaria and many others. Follow this road and you will get to “Eat Street” in Seminyak center, an area also packed with world-class restaurants. Heading north you will instead reach Canggu, a more spiritual and “hipster” village, famous for its numerous healthy cafes, yoga parlour and the renowned Canggu Club. If instead you are looking to spend most of your days relaxing and having fun on the beach, the property boasts also a superb location, being relatively close to some of the best beach clubs of the island: Finns Beach Club, Vue Beach Club, Woo Bar, KuDeTa and La Laguna are within a one kilometre radius!
The villa
Designed by a famed architect group, the nucleus of this property is a restored plantation house from Kalimantan, which dates back to the 1880, hence the name of the villa. It is definitely not an understatement calling this villa unique. But the uniqueness of Villa 1880 is not only in its restored house: the design, the furnishings and the decorations, are also remarkable, an harmonious and luxurious mix of tradition and contemporary design. The outdoor living area of the villa is a gorgeous tropical space centered on the beautiful salt water swimming pool. Around it is a gorgeous covered living area characterised by several designer sitting, dining table and amazing mood lighting. The indoor living room is instead located on the first floor of the plantation house, a colonial styled room fitted with beautiful sofas and flat screen TV with DVD player. Just adjacent to this room we have a huge open-air terrace with barbecue grill and plenty of space to sit and enjoy the company of your loved ones. The villa also boasts a beautiful kitchen with bar, where to enjoy the aperitif time while the talented chef does his magic on the back, and a luxurious spa room with massage beds and sunken Jacuzzi tub.
Accommodation
Villa 1880 offers five gorgeous and unique bedrooms, all boasting air-conditioning, King Coil mattresses, TVs, DVD players and sound system. The master bedroom is located on the ground floor of the colonial house and features a gorgeous king sized bed, fitted wardrobe, private garden and luxurious en-suite with outdoor terrazzo bathtub and rain shower. On the first floor we have two large guest bedrooms, similar in style and size, both featuring king sized bed and indoor en-suite bathrooms. One of these rooms can be interconnected with the gleefully decorated kids room, complete with 8 bunk beds, toys, books, TV and beautiful bathroom with tub. The fifth beautiful bedroom is instead located in the plantation house’ attic and also features a king sized bed and a gorgeous indoor ensuite.
Staff
The amazing and well trained staff of the villa will look after you during your stay and help you with any request you might have. The team is composed of a villa manager, maids, two butlers and night security guards. The villa features also a beautifully renovated VW van in case you’d like to get around the island with some style.

I've stayed in Bali many times in the past and this place is by far the Most Unique Place I have ever stayed .. So Tranquil ... So Unique ... So Inviting ... So Relaxing and yet a stones throw to the beach and all that Bali has to offer ... The Villa and surrounds are So Luxurious and Peaceful the Perfect Hideaway !!! ... and the Food here is Divine !!! The Staff are so Warm and Welcoming making my stay a Truely Unique Experience here in Bali ... The Lush Gardens and Enormous Pool add to the feeling that one is Truely in Paradise away from the hussle / bussle and yet so close to Everything that Bali offer ... Thank You So Much for Such a Gorgeous Time here and Thanks to All the Staff that made my stay So Memorable ... I Highly Recommend Villa 1880 !!! Un Forgettable !!!!

5/5We stayed for a week at Villa1880 and had a great time. The house was perfect for our large family group, with good communal areas to share dinner, with enough space for privacy when needed. The main highlight though were the staff. Manager Gede, staff Putu and Wydia and chef Adi really made out stay something else. Aside from excellent service, they were also genuinely friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this place in a heartbeat to anyone looking for luxury accommodation while also being a bit closer to the Bali experience than what you might get in a resort.
