Description
The Uma is a modern and spacious 3 bedroom villa located in the traditional village of Babakan, in the rural and picturesque Canggu area. The location is strategical, as it is conveniently close to the shortcut to Ubud (Bali’s cultural capital, 50 minutes drive), the signature temple of Tanah Lot (20 minutes away), Seminyak (the most touristic location in the island, 20 minutes drive away) and, of course, the renowned Canggu’s beaches, places such as Batu Bolong and Echo Beach, great spots for surfers. The villa is also within easy walking distance to few local warung and cafes, but only couple of kilometres into Canggu guests will find countless dining options, places like Milk and Madu, My Warung, Peloton, Macan Cafe and Dim Sum House.
The villa
The Uma is a delightful and extremely large property that lies on a huge landscaped land nestled amongst beautiful rice paddy fields. The spacious garden and its 13 meters swimming pool are surely the highlights of this property: guests can take advantage of the villa’s peaceful atmosphere relaxing on the sun loungers and the traditional covered balè set by the well-sized pool. The property is extremely spacious also in its indoor spaces, which have been furnished in a tasteful minimalistic style.
The living area is a semi-open room overlooking the delightful garden, and comprises: a lounge corner fitted with beautiful sofas, large coffee table and flat screen TV, a dining area with library and table for 6 and a large modern kitchen, equipped with gas stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, juicer, toaster and all the cooking utensils guests may need to prepare delicious meals. On the upper level the villa offers also a lovely furnished terrace with view over the beautiful rice fields surrounding the property.
The three comfortable and air-conditioned bedrooms of The Uma are all very spacious and feature double beds and en-suite bathrooms with shower.
Staff
At The Uma Villa guests can also rest easy without worrying about anything, for the villa is fully staffed and includes daytime maids who will take care of everything in order to make the guests’ stay as comfortable as possible.
