The Layar complex is composed of 23 gorgeous villas, offering all kind of solutions, from romantic 1 bedroom villas to 4 bedroom residences, ideal for families or large groups of friends. All the properties of the complex are characterized by a spectacular design, wonderful decorations and modern amenities. The most distintive characteristics of their peculiar architectural style are probably the pitched roofs that ‘fall’ dramatically to the ground and recalls clearly the shape of fishing boats sails (Layar means ‘sails’ in Indonesian). These beautifully styled villas recreates in a modern way the typical tropical open concept, with wide and light-filled open spaces.
The villa
The Layar one bedroom option is the perfect solution for those looking for a romantic getaway. There are 4 of these villas in the complex and each of them boasts an almost identical design, characterised by gorgeous sloping roofs and elevated gardens. The outdoor areas feature beautiful swimming pools nestled in manicured gardens and timber pool decks with sun loungers.
The wonderful and large open-plan living and dining areas are the perfect spaces to relax and spend romantic moments with your loved one. This area comprises a lounge corner with teakwood sofa, flat screen TV and DVD player, a raised dining space and a beautiful galley-style kitchen.
The stunning bedroom of the villa is a stylish space featuring a king size bed, satellite TV with DVD player, seating area, direct access to the swimming pool area, view over the courtyard and an amazing ensuite bathroom with twin vanity and shower. But the most romantic part of the villa is probably the gorgeous stone bathtub set in the courtyard and accessible from the bathroom, honeymooners and couples will simply love it!

The Layar complex has over 100 staff, all professionally trained and completely focused on making your stay no less than exceptional. The team is composed of villa managers, concierge, skilled chefs, butlers, housekeepers, spa therapists, gardeners, pool attendants and security guards. There is nothing to fault here. The only thing I can suggest is better wifi strength so it goes into the bedrooms. Everything else is spot on. Clean fresh timeless design, this property is as described and pictured.

5/5We loved layar having stayed there for 3 days. The rooms are designed beautifully and functionally and is a dream for travellers.With options from 1,2,3 and 4 bedroom villas layar is a gem in Seminyak! Everything is close by and the hotel buggy drops you wherever you want to go. Our butlers Megha and the others were attentive and ensured we had an amazing trip!
