Villa Can Barca

If you are visiting Seminyak, this villa is in a great location, opposite W hotel, walking distance to Sarong restaurant and Merah Putiih restaurant. Unfortunately I had an awkward fall on day one, so hampered holiday a bit. Ahmed the manager was extremely helpful, ensuring I got the treatment at Aussie hospital as needed, he accompanied us to the emergency section and made sure all was ok with X-rays etc. Ida our housekeeper was very attentive and cooks a great breakfast as well as cleaning very thoroughly. The villa is wonderful. Small problems I encountered, bedside light switch is about a metre down from light, hard to get at with one arm in a sling. My friend found missies a problem, I didn’t get bitten at all. Very light in morning as the glass do or to bathroom has no curtain, so one is woken as soon as it is light. Amenities are excellent, well equipped kitchen, along with water cooler, coffee and a big fridge. Deli across the road has great croissants, pastries, bread etc Pool could do with a clean around the edges, not done while we were there for 12 nights. Overall a great stay, hampered with my arm in a sling, but we made the most of it

A very relaxing place for a getaway. It is very secluded yet you are right in the middle of everything form bars to restaurants and the beach right on your door step. The happening eat street is only a five minute walk with all its restaurants, bars and night clubs and plenty of shopping. The staff were fantastic with Hari organising transport and Ida keeping the place clean and cooking amazing food. You must get her to cook the local cuisine for you if you stay.
