Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa is a gorgeous ocean front 4-bedroom villa situated the sleepy district of Pererenan, in Canggu. The location of this beautiful villa is ideal for surfers, as they will have some of the most amazing surf spots of the island a stone’s throw away, places such has Echo Beach and Batu Bolong. Canggu is also home to some of the best restaurants in Bali, eateries like Ji, The Slow, The Shady Shack and Ulekan will be at easy driving distance from the villa.
Sungai Tinggi Beach Villa is a stunning oasis that feels like a celebration of Bali in every detail, from the extensive and exotic garden to the traditional design and the local materials used to build the six pavilions that make the property. Thanks to its amazing ocean front position and dedicated events space connected to the beach via a wooden walkway, the villais ideal to also host unforgettable weddings!
Outdoor living areas
The stunning garden is arguably the highlight of the property with its beautiful lawns, tropical flora and amazing view over the ocean, positioned just a few steps away. The beautiful greenstone swimming pool offers the best spot to enjoy this panorama. Just next to it is the poolside deck fitted with sun loungers, parasols and rattan chairs, the perfect space to relax and soak up the amazing Balinese sun.
Towards the end of the garden guests will also find a traditional bale (gazebo), which offer the perfect space to meditate or practise yoga.
A tennis court (shared with the neighbouring estates) is also at guests disposal.
Indoor living areas
The large open-sided pavilion with thatched roofs and polished cream terrazzo floors houses the main living area of the villa. This opulent space features oversized sofas, several elegant armchairs, a huge 14-seater dining table, TV with DVD player, stereo system with iPod dock and a stocked bar. A second more intimate living space is the lounge in the guesthouse, which also offer a great view over the ocean and the river.
Bedrooms
Villa Sungai Tinggi counts six gorgeous and comfortable bedrooms.
The master suite occupies its own gorgeous pavilion, characterised by beautiful decorations, alang alang roof and timber floors. This suite features a four-poster king size bed, a private verandah opening onto ocean views, an adjoining living room featuring TV, desk and its own bathroom, a large dressing room and a stunning ensuite tropical bathroom with outdoor shower and circular bathtub.
Three other guests bedrooms are instead found in the two-storey pavilion positioned next to the main living hub. The structure houses two suite on the ground floor and one bedroom on the upper floor, which enjoys a private terrace and panoramic sea views. All suites features four-poster king-size beds and beautiful bathrooms, one with sunken terrazzo bathtub, another with outdoor shower and the third with shower looking out over the surrounding rice fields.
The last two bedrooms are situated in a charming teakwood guesthouse, both of which overlook the coconut groves. One bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed while the other has twin beds. Both bedrooms feature an ensuite bathroom, a private kitchenette, and a dining area. Additionally, the guesthouse is equipped with air-conditioning and ceiling fans for your comfort.
Staff
The amazing staff of the compound will be ready to assist the guests with all their needs and to take care of the property in every detail. The villa manager leads a team of professional maids, cooks and security guards. Extra staff like masseuses, drivers and babysitters can be requested (extra cost).

We stayed as guests of the wedding couple who had booked out this location. You don't realise how spacious and lush the place is until you're there. Very family-friendly, excellent villa manager who was able to cater for gluten free and vegetarian dietary requirements, recommendations on where to visit around the local area and helpful staff. Would highly recommend for a big family group (perfect for older parents who were visiting Bali for the first time) or as a wedding venue. Would love to stay here in future!!
