Villa Avalon is a gorgeous villa complex located in one of Bali’s most sought-after area, only 50 meters away from Berawa beach in Canggu.
This grand and elegant estate, designed by award-winning Bali architect Popo Danes, offers a total 7 bedrooms, making it ideal to host special events. The location of these properties is simply amazing, only few steps away from the renowned surfing waves of Berawa. La Laguna, a charming “boho-batik” restaurant and sunset bar, is just right next to the villa, but also other famous beach bars, like Woo Bar, Vue Beach Club, Finns and Potato Head, are within easy walking distance.
Also few minutes drive is the famed Finns Recreation Club, great for a day of fun at the waterpark, bowling alley, trampoline center or tennis court. The vibrant center of Seminyak, with its fine dining options and amazing boutiques, is instead a n easy 15 minute drive away.
Villa Avalon I
The beautifully landscaped garden of this 4 bedroom villa is surely one of the estate's highlights. This space is large enough to host private celebration for up to a 80 guests. At the center of the garden sparkles a lovely 14 meter long swimming pool. Guests can either soak up the beautiful Balinese sun by the pool side loungers or opt for a relaxing time in stunning historical teakwood joglo house (imported directly from Java).
From a traditional gateway, steps lead up to the villa’s open-sided living room, which is housed in one of three interconnected pavilions that make up the property. This upper level room is a stylish fan-cooled space featuring comfy sofas and a games corner complete with a billiard table. Downstairs awaits an elegant dining room, also fan-cooled and designed to overlook the beautiful garden. The villa also offers an a ir-conditioned media room/library with 52” satellite TV and home theatre system, the ideal place for movie watching, catching up on some extra work or simply having a quiet and relaxing time.
Villa Avalon I features four gorgeous and air-conditioned bedrooms. The two master suites occupy the two-storey sleeping pavilion and feature four-poster king size beds, spacious attached sitting areas, shady verandas, satellite TVs, walk-in dressing-rooms and amazing air-conditioned bathrooms with twin basin, luxurious bathtubs, showers and marble floors.
The two other guest bedrooms are found on the other side of the living pavilion and they are also spacious and luxurious. They feature double beds, satellite TVs and marble ensuite bathrooms with rain showers.
Villa Avalon II
The traditional Balinese entrance of these delightful 2 bedroom villa opens onto a gorgeously landscaped garden, a place where guests can relax and soak in the island’s tropical vibe, while refreshing in the inviting pool.
The living pavilion opens onto this lush space and is set in a beautiful and antique Javanese Joglo house. The structure is open to the lovely tropical breeze and features a sitting area on the front, a comfortable dining table and a fully equipped kitchenette on the back.
Just next to the living and dining pavilion are the villa’s two bedrooms. The high vaulted ceiling of the sleeping pavilion give both rooms a comfortable sense of space. The rooms are fitted with gorgeous furnishings, beautiful Balinese paintings, double beds, dressing areas and 37” flat screen satellite TVs. Both bedrooms are also serviced by ensuite bathrooms with marble floors and rain showers.
Villa Avalon III
The gorgeous garden of this romantic 1 bedroom villa is a tropical gem characterised by beautiful and exotic plants. Guests will surely feel they may have found a slice of paradise while they refresh in the private swimming poolor sunbath on one of the sun loungers.
The villa’s traditional Balinese entrance opens onto a lotus pond where steps lead past water features and into a large open-plan living and dining room. This air-conditioned space is characterised by an high vaulted ceiling, wooden floors, traditional artworks and a beautiful interiors inspired by nature. At one end, set before double doors that open onto the pool terrace, is the comfortable lounge corner equipped with sofas and 42” TV with home theatre system. At the other end, a breakfast bar separates the fully equipped kitchen from the dining area.
The beautiful bedroom of this romantic property is accessed by a small hall off the living room. The room features full length glass sliding doors that open up to the garden and is furnished with a queen size bed. There is also a small seating area facing the pool terrace and a gorgeous ensuite bathroom with air-conditioning, luxurious bathtub, rain shower and walk-in wardrobe.
Staff
The Avalon Villa Complex is serviced by an amazing and professionally trained staff. The team is composed of villa managers, a talented chef, butlers, housekeepers, maintenance team and night security guards. The staff will look after you during the stay and will work discreetly in the background to provide a 5-star service.

We stayed in Sept/Oct 2019 for 7 nights with 6 adults and 7 kids in Villa 1 & 2. The staff were superb. Everything was easy and the house and garden kept in immaculate condition. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble - even helping us solve a credit card left accidentally at a beach club 1.5 hr away on the final day of our stay! Our food was cooked and served in house and never disappointed. The pool and garden space is stunning and provided a great space o hang with the kids who lived in the pool for most of our stay. We had a yoga teacher come to the villa - all effortlessly arranged but the staff - and had no trouble getting taxis and transport organised whenever we needed. Absolutely perfect place for a big relaxation group holiday. Main drawback was the location of the villa. There isn't much in the way of easy walking to shops and restaurants, and the access to the beach - which isn't an especially nice one - is via the current derilict La Laguna nightclub over some slightly precarious walkways. But with lots of little kids in tow, we weren't up for much walking in the warm weather anyway.

5/5The Villa’s are truly magical you get transported by the location and staff to a place of luxury. The villa’s are so well appointed, tranquil and relaxing. There is nothing that is to much trouble for the staff... they go out if there way - on their own bikes to help you. The comments book is glowing, the prices are very reasonable, the beech is a stroll away - what more could you want. They cook and serve any meals you wish - if you wish to go out in the evening I suggest a taxi but they are cheap... just brilliant.
